Maple Ridge Magician Mike Norden got a call from a Canadian Food Inspection Agency official who had noted the magician's website said Mike's act involved a chicken named Rufus. The official asked about Rufus's recent movements, adding that due to avian flu, Rufus might have to be culled.

Mike then told the official Rufus was a rubber chicken. After a moment of silence, the CFIA official suggested Mike amend his website to specify that.
